The software, which allows you to control the device from PC, is the part of a basic package of any M520 series oscilloscope. It works under following operating systems: Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.
The latest version of the software is always available on our website free of charge. It runs in demonstration mode, if no device is connected to PC.
All basic oscilloscope controls are easily accessible directly from the main window. That makes measurement similar to the measurement with stand-alone device.
Print manager allows you to print measurement protocol. You can change protocol appearance, add custom text to it.
Together with standard modules (A+B, A-B ...), there are following modules in basic package:
Fourier transformation module
The fourier transformation module transforms acquired samples using fourier transformation.
The FT usage is quite simple thanks to the automatic period detection. Two algorithms are available: DFT (discrete fourier transformation) and FFT (fast fourier transformation).
Multiwave function displays waveform history together with probability of sample occurence.
Inverse fourier transformation module
Inverse fourier transformation module transforms frequency spectrum calculated by fourier transformation module back to the time domain.
It is possible to alter frequency spectrum as follows:
- Remove all harmonics below selected threshold
- Remove selected harmonics
- Simulate pass through specified filter
Waveform parameters detection module
This module automatically calculates following parameters: Peak-peak voltage, +peak voltage, -peak voltage, frequency, period, DC voltage, effective voltage, average voltage, crest factor, high pulse width, low pulse width, duty factor, high pulse level, low pulse level, high overshoot, low overshoot, rise time, fall time.
